Life is so beautiful. This world is so beautiful. There’s so much to do. So much to see. And we’re so young. What a waste life would be if we didn’t follow our hearts and do whatever makes us happy? What a waste life would be if we didn’t even feel alive, or risk anything because of our fears, or didn’t see the world we live in?
Whoever is reading this, I hope you follow your bliss. I hope you follow your goosebumps. I hope you follow your wanderlust. I hope you follow your dreams. Even if that means not having a degree to frame onto your wall, or a steady fat paycheck, or a nice big house, or pretty expensive things. Because when you’re on your deathbed you’re not going to think about the degrees you acquired, and how much money made and spent. You’re going to think about the people you love, all the beautiful places you went to, and your dreams that came alive.
Gain the courage to follow whatever makes you feel the most alive and never stop chasing your dreams.
I hope you live a life that you’re proud of.

I am happy with the life I’m living right now knowing that I would have to check every motivations I have when I decide or do something. I just want to live a hapy and eaceful life while I’m here. 🙂

I enjoyed this post very much. I have stated many times “follow your heart,” for it is better to live a short life doing what you love doing than to live a long life doing what you hate. Money as a chief motivator for living will make your life empty and full of artifacts. Live long and prosperous in everything you do.
Since there is so many fields of sceliapties that I have a choice of, I still really can’t choose one. So I am going base on my personal experiences. My original goal back in high school and maybe even before that, was to work in a Neonatal ICU! I had a brother that passed before he had his first birthday from heart complications, and that year I spent a lot of time at hospitals with my parents. My goal the first couple of years was to work with babies just like him. That was until I had my own children, I would of still loved to have worked in that career field but the heart ache I would most likely endure when one of those babies did not make it home. I could not have handled!On to more positive experiences, I have worked with the elderly and Geriatrics interests me very much. Being surrounded with people that have lived a fulfilled life is so much more rewarding. Even though at times it is the ending stages of their lives, and it is sad when someone does pass. It’s less of a heartache to know that most of the time they are ready to move on. They are still very dependent on you and when you are able to help them with their needs that’s the most rewarding of all, plus you form a special relationship with the patients and their families.

Random idea / inspiration I had when I read this post: and I need to get it down before I forget the moment. Learn about the coffee culture in each country and city I travel to in the future, maybe even work in a cafe as a short stint, and absorb the unique culture to each city as well. Fulfill that coffee dream, that travel dream. Write a lot, take a lot of photos, and record those experiences.

That’s so true. Yet I think that what people find so difficult in pursuing their dreams is finding out what dreams they actually want to pursue. We are overwhelemed with options and pressure of time. Decide, quickly, now because otherwise you may lose a life changing opportunity. There is one quote from the book titled ” The Story of an African Farm” that always lights me up:
” That is no plan; travel – see the world- find work ! If you go into the world aimless, with a definite object, dreaming – dreaming, you will be definitely defeated, bamboozled, knocked this way and that. In the end you will stand with your beautiful life all spent, and nothing to show. They talk of genius – it is nothing but this, that a man knows what he can do best, and does it, and nothing else. It does not matter what you choose – be a farmer, businessman, artist, what you will – but know your aim, and live for that one thing. We have only one life.
